This was actually a gifted session to celebrate Cassandras newest little guy entering her family and can you believe this was their first family photoshoot EVER?! They were such troopers as it was actually pretty chilly when we took these photos. We had so much fun running around a field, playing tag, and just taking a moment to cherish this little family. It really does make you think how much you accomplished and everything and everywhere you've been in just a year. This year was really taking me to new places like shooting my first wedding in Moab to diving more into my photographer brain with lots of family photoshoots and even a little bit of real-estate videography. I am so thankful for all my 2024 brides and clients who trusted me to capture your memories. It makes me so happy to be able to preserve a moment so precious and visit some pretty darn epic places in the process! Thank you so much for being here and supporting me through my crazy journey of capturing memories. I first started into photography on my High School yearbook where I found a love of action/candid shots and design. I continued my photography career while going to Utah Tech where I was a photographer for the Dixie Sun and earned my Bachelors in Digital Design. It was around the time of Youtube getting big and travel vlogs were all the rage that I bought my first drone and fell in love with the storytelling that is videography with a family trip to Scotland. Fast forward almost 9 years later and I've been capturing love stories all across Utah from Zion, Bryce Canyon, Moab, Salt Flats, and much more.

I live in Utah County with my family- husband @asian003, the cutest boy in the whole world- Grayson, and our dog Ekko. My absolute favorite time of the year is spooky season as I love a good scary movie and pumpkin everything. I consider myself a cozy gamer as I love games like Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, Five Nights at Freddys and Hogwarts Legacy. I have a serious addition to Diet Dew and would eat Tex Mex any chance I get.

My biggest goal with my photography and videography is to truly capture the moment and your most authentic self. I want you to feel like you are right back in the mountains, surrounded by your loved ones, reading your vows and feeling the breeze on your face while watching my videos. ✨️ Ceremony Tips you're photo/video team will LOVE you for! ✨️

1. Rehearsal, rehearsal, rehearsal!
I know when the day comes, people get excited and walk wayyy too fast or get bunched up together making it hard to get a clean shot or each bridesmaid or couple coming down the aisle. My best advice is to go over order and cues the night before so its fresh in everyones minds- better yet, have a day of coordinator to give you your cues! Also for my lovely bridesmaids, please smile... I know the aisle walk is awkward but the RBF is worse for video... 😅
.

2. Hire a wedding planner or day of coordinator!
This follows along with rehearsing your ceremony but having someone to tell you when to walk, fluff your train before you head down the aisle and so so much more! Trust me, you want someone working behind the scenes to make sure your day goes smoothly so you can enjoy being with your favorite people!
.

3. Make your maid of honor workk!
This sounds a bit harsh but does your maid of honor/bridal party know their duties throughout the day? I have seen amazing maids of honors with a mary poppins purse of lipstick for touch ups, powder, sewing kits, and always being there to help you with any last minute things! Some little tasks for the ceremony is to take and hand back your bouquet as well as fluffing your dress.

4. Kiss TWICE!!
I know some couples get in a rush and do a quick peck but baby hold that first kiss!! This ensures your photo/video team get that money shot you've been dreaming of.
.

5. Enjoy your first walk as a married couple!
Take it all in and enjoy your ceremony! Dance down the aisle, go hug your parents, to a dramatic dip kiss in the middle of the aisle! This is your day so enjoy it!

I have seen so many weddings where flower girls and ring bearers will hide behind each other so I can't get a good shot of their cute faces! Now I know having kids do something perfect on your wedding day might be near impossible but here are some ideas to help us get that money shot!

1. Have them go down one by one. Each having their own time in the spotlight.

2. Have them walk in a straight line in pairs of 2 holding hands.
.

3. Have them go down shortest in front and tallest in back. That way they can still go down in a unit but your photo/video team will have a better chance to capture each of their faces.
